Stopover in the Verdon for Horsetrekkers

We have various accommodation offers adapted for riders, trekkers or hikers with horses or donkeys. 

Accommodation For Riders

You may stay in one of our furnished tents between mid-May and early September.  

Separate sanitary facilities (showers and toilets) are available.

Half-board and full-board options are available with homemade food prepared for you by our staff.

Paddocks for Horses

For your travelling partners, we propose individual or collective paddocks (depending on whether your horses know each other) that are set up away from our herd. We welcome horses and donkeys all year round.

Access to water is unlimited and hay is also available. Grain (crushed oats or corn) can also be supplied for an extra charge.

Important Information

We kindly ask that each rider bring a copy of each horse’s official documents. The law stipulates that identification documents must be present in any place that horses are kept, including stopovers. 
Furthermore, the public health services and the “Haras Nationaux” ask that we fill in and keep a register of the horses on site. We update this register with every arrival and departure and thus require the different identification numbers (SIRE and Transponder) linked to your horse.
The above measures are not taken with surveillance in mind, but rather in an effort to ensure health and safety, by allowing horse owners to be informed of potential health or epidemiological problems in centres they may have visited. These preventive measures allow symptoms of the above to be identified and treated much more effectively.  

Following numerous problems, we regret to inform you that dogs are not permitted anywhere on site. No exceptions can be made, whatever your situation. 

Stopover Prices

Accommodations in '' Lodge '' tents :

- Lodge' Tent : 60 € per tent per night, with access to the terrace and sanitary facilities.
- Breakfast : 6 € per person.
- Meals* : 18 € per person.
- Picnic lunch* : from 12 € per person.

The above rates concern adults and teenagers. A lower rate applies for meals for children under 10 years of age. Consult our detailed rates on the “Price List” page.
*Drinks not included.


Stopover Paddocks :

- Individual or collective paddock with water and hay : 12 € per horse per night.
- Individual or collective paddock with water (no hay) : 7 € per horse per night.
- Grain supplement : 0.50 € per litre.
